Rudhra Rekapally — Product Designer
Ask me anything. I'll answer in design.
Research-driven product designer crafting calm interfaces across healthtech, edtech, SaaS & AI — currently designing AI agents at SolvirIT.
A designer with a research habit.
I'm Rudhra — I blend psychology, research and visual craft to design products that feel obvious in hindsight. I've shipped across healthcare, education, SaaS and early-stage startups — raising usability, consistency and retention along the way.
My day moves between end-to-end UX research — interviews, heuristic evaluation, usability testing, journey mapping — and the fine craft of interaction design, prototyping and design systems. I care about decisions that are data-informed, not data-decorated.

Five quiet movements, one loud outcome.
The rhythm holds; the shape bends per project. AI sharpens the middle three — the listening and the shipping stay human.

i.
Listen
Stakeholder kick-offs, user interviews, field observation, support tickets. I hunt the gap between what people say they need and what their behavior is asking for. Nothing survives if I get this wrong.
-
ii.
Frame
Synthesize patterns into a problem statement the team actually agrees on — JTBD, journey maps, an opinionated "we will / we won't" list.
+ AI · stress-tests the framing against opposing lenses before committing -
iii.
Draw
Quantity over quality first — sketches, lo-fi flows, divergent options. Rough things hit whiteboards on day three, not week three.
+ AI · three hand sketches become clickable in an afternoon -
iv.
Validate
Hi-fi prototypes in front of real users within the week. Five sessions, three big findings, one insight that changes the brief.
+ AI · patches drafted between sessions, not after the round -

Ship & revisit
Annotated specs, paired with engineers in stand-up, instrumented launches. Design isn't done at ship — it's just visible.
The textbook gives you a sentence.
Here's the version I've earned.
Seven words every job listing reuses — and what they mean after four years of shipping, breaking and rebuilding. Scroll the list or tap a word — ← → works too.
Where it started · 2017 I met user-centered design with a controller in hand — GTA V on an Xbox 360, a world so big that never once made me feel lost. The map, the menus, a city teaching you its rules without a single tutorial pop-up. I just didn't have the words for it yet.
